A fountain in New Tashkent set two Guinness World Records. Video

The fountain located in New Tashkent has become the holder of two world records, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records. The corresponding announcement was made by the New Tashkent Construction Directorate.

The first record was registered in the category "Tallest Outdoor Musical Fountain." The fountain's water jet reached a height of 232.69 meters, surpassing the previous world record of 204.7 meters. The official certificate was presented by Guinness World Records judge Maggie Luo.

The second record relates to the area of the circular projection on the fountain's water screen. It reached 2,617.23 square meters, beating the previous record of 2,400 square meters.

Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev described New Tashkent as one of the key symbols of the country's progress.
