A court in Tashkent has reviewed a case involving the harassment of a woman on bus No. 47.

In Tashkent, a court has sentenced a man to 3 days of administrative arrest for sexually harassing a female passenger on public transport.

The incident occurred in the Sergeli district of the capital on bus route No. 47. According to the case files, the citizen harassed a woman riding the bus and touched her. The passenger demanded that he stop such actions and behave appropriately, but the man continued the harassment.

The case was reviewed by the Sergeli District Criminal Court. During the hearing, the offender fully admitted his guilt, expressed remorse, and promised that this would not happen again.

The court found the man guilty under Part 1 of Article 41-1 "Sexual Harassment" of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was sentenced to 3 days of administrative arrest.
