According to the press service of the Fergana regional administration, a Chinese investor plans to invest approximately $20 million in the creation of modern industrial facilities in the Baghdad district of the Fergana region.
Khairullo Bozorov, the governor of the Fergana region, held talks with Chinese investor Yan Cuizhong. During the meeting, the implementation of the industrial project and other potential areas for investment cooperation were discussed.
To implement the project in the Baghdad district, the Chinese investor established and registered the foreign enterprise "GRANDHUNT 1688." The plan is to organize the processing of metal structures, as well as the production of corrugated sheets and sandwich panels.
A 5-hectare plot of land in the Baghdad district economic zone is planned for the project. Two modern manufacturing facilities are planned to be built on this land in two stages. Work has already begun on the first stage, supplying the necessary technological equipment and organizing the production of metal structures and sandwich panels. The second stage involves the construction of modern production plants.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to creating favorable conditions for the successful implementation of the investment project. Khairullo Bozorov expressed his readiness to provide the investor with comprehensive support in accordance with the established procedure.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement.
