A 350-year-old white mulberry tree has been placed under protection as a natural monument.

By decision of the Tashkent Council of People's Deputies, the 350-year-old white mulberry tree on the Blue Domes alley in the Yakkasaray district has been declared a state natural monument.

Representatives of the Kengash, the Department of Ecology, the Khokimiyat, and the media conducted an on-site inspection of the area. During the inspection, the tree's condition, its conservation conditions, and the level of improvements in the surrounding area were thoroughly examined. Participants discussed a range of care measures for this natural monument, emphasizing the need to preserve its natural state.

The issues discussed included installing a fence around the area, further landscaping, placing information signs, and protecting the tree from various external influences. Particular attention was paid to preserving the historical and ecological value of the area and fostering a respectful attitude toward the natural monument among the local population.

Following the inspection, specific recommendations were issued for the timely and high-quality implementation of all tasks outlined in the Kengash's decision. Compliance with these instructions will be monitored by members of parliament and members of the public.
