A $35 million livestock complex will be built in the Kasansay district.

Construction of a modern livestock complex, with an investment of $35 million, has begun in the Kasansay district of the Namangan region. According to the press service of the Kasansay district administration, the facility will be capable of simultaneously housing up to 15,000 head of cattle.

This project is being implemented as part of the Kasansay district's specialization in livestock farming, as enshrined in Presidential Decree No. 179 of May 12, 2026. The groundbreaking ceremony for the complex, being implemented by Namangan Chorva Invest Holding LLC, took place in the Yangi Uzbekiston mahalla.

The complex will occupy 14.7 hectares, with approximately 30% of the area allocated for landscaping.

The project is scheduled to run from 2026 to 2028 and involves the creation of advanced livestock infrastructure, the development of livestock breeding, and the introduction of innovative technologies into the industry.

The construction groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Namangan Region Khokim Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, senior representatives, industry experts, and local residents.

Before the start of construction, a traditional sacrifice was performed, and aksakals (elders) offered prayers for the project's successful completion, after which construction was officially launched.

This complex is expected to significantly stimulate the development of livestock farming in the Kasansay District, create new jobs, and increase incomes.
