12 Zhongtong buses have been brought to the Qashqadaryo region from China. In the coming days, they will be deployed on internal routes in the city of Karshi on a gross-contract basis. With this, the number of new buses brought to the region since the beginning of this year has reached 56.
12 buses imported from China for Karshi city public transport
As part of the renewal of the public transport fleet in Kashkadarya region, another 12 buses have been imported from China, reports state.
The Zhongtong brand buses were brought in by "Bazarcha" LLC, which is engaged in passenger transportation in the Kashkadarya region.
It is noted that in the coming days, the new buses will be deployed on Karshi's internal bus routes on a gross-cost contract basis.
With this, the number of new buses brought to the Kashkadarya region since the beginning of this year has reached 56. In 2025, 62 modern buses were brought to the region.
For reference, Zhongtong buses are manufactured by Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd., located in China's Shandong province.
Previously, in July, 38 modern AsiaStar buses were imported from China to the city of Karshi.
They were expected to be launched on two new routes operating on a gross-cost contract basis in the city.
