100-meter underground bunkers for billionaires to be built in the Alps
Underground vaults are being built in the Swiss Alps to store the wealth of billionaires. The rooms are planned to house gold, cash, artwork and cars.

Billionaires are being built 100-meter underground bunkers in the Alps, Bild reported.
The structure, which is being built more than 100 meters deep in the Brünig massif in central Switzerland, is designed by the project authors to provide protection from "almost any possible threat" - any attack or disaster. To this end, the vaults will be located deep inside the mountain massif.
The Swiss company Brünig Mega Safe, owned by businessman Thomas Gasser, is behind the project. Construction work began in January 2026, and according to a company representative, preliminary work in the high-security area has already been completed. The next stage will be the construction of a portal that will provide access to the vaults.
Gasser said in an interview with the Swiss television channel RTS: "The level of security should correspond to the level used in the vaults of the Swiss National Bank."
The first warehouses are expected to be completed in 2028. A total of 25 rooms are planned to be created in the mountain range. The right to use one of them for a period of 99 years can cost up to 1 million euros. These warehouses are intended for billionaires who need to store their property for a long time.
Access to the underground complex will be carried out through several stages of control. According to Gasser, a person will first have to go through a gateway, and additional checks are also provided. According to the company, it will be possible to store almost any valuables in the warehouses. The restrictions apply only to drugs and explosives.
