10 Zhongtong electric buses manufactured in China have been brought to Namangan. They are planned to be launched on the "Otchopar — Chorsu" route on the basis of a gross contract. The electric buses were brought within the framework of a contract for the purchase of 125 buses.
10 electric buses have been brought from China for Namangan city's public transport
It is reported that 10 Zhongtong electric buses manufactured in China have been brought to the city of Namangan. They are planned to serve passengers on the "Otchopar — Chorsu" route.
The electric buses were brought by "Turon-95 MBI" LLC within the framework of a contract signed for the purchase of 125 modern buses manufactured in China.
In accordance with the road transport master plan of Namangan city, it is planned to deploy the new vehicles on the "Otchopar — Chorsu" route on the basis of tenders and to organize the trips on the basis of gross contracts.
The launch of the new electric buses is aimed at expanding environmentally friendly and modern public transport services in the city. It is envisaged to create more than 20 new jobs on the routes related to their operation.
It is noted that during the past period, within the framework of modernizing public transport in the region, entrepreneurs have brought 108 modern buses for Namangan city. They are currently providing services on 10 routes on the basis of gross contracts.
Previously, in July, 12 Ankai buses were brought to Namangan city from China.
As a reminder, on June 23, Shavkat Mirziyoyev listened to reports from officials at the regional situation center, where instructions were given to purchase 90 buses, 50 electric buses, and 30 minibuses by September 1, and an additional 105 electric buses by July 1 for the development of Namangan city's public transport.
