Wildberries proposed to relocate warehouses to Kyrgyzstan

The President of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Temir Sariyev, has put forward a proposal to locate some logistics facilities and warehouses of the Wildberries company in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by 24.kg.

According to the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Temir Sariyev made this proposal at a meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Business Council. The meeting discussed the conditions for increasing the mutual trade turnover to $ 5 billion. Sariyev listed three main obstacles to trade:

* **Bureaucracy and regulations:** Due to discrepancies in marking and documentation, businesses are forced to undergo repeated inspections.

* **Detentions at the border:** Lack of coordination of sanitary inspections and queues lead to spoilage of goods.

* **Marketplace risks:** Emergencies and fires at Wildberries warehouses in Russia are directly affecting Kyrgyz producers.

“Locating warehouses in Kyrgyzstan is not only profitable, but also helps reduce risks. Goods cannot be stored in one place,” said the head of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

**Attacks on Wildberries**

Since July 18, Ukraine has attacked WB complexes in Elektrostal near Moscow (250,000 square meters), Kotovsk in the Tambov region (108,000 square meters), Krasnodar (100,000 square meters), Nevinnomissk in the Stavropol region (94,000 square meters), as well as in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad region and Ryazan.

Most of the goods in the warehouses were purchased on credit, taxes were paid for them, and obligations to suppliers remained. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky explained the attacks on Wildberries by the fact that parts for drones and navigation equipment were stored in the warehouses.

Wildberries has begun to compensate sellers who suffered losses from the Ukrainian attacks. The company's offer exempts the marketplace from liability for drone attacks. However, the company's head Tatyana Kim said that they "will not abandon sellers." The economic damage is estimated at at least 180 billion rubles. At the same time, it was previously reported that Wildberries was looking for a warehouse in Kazakhstan due to drone attacks.
