Uzbekistan, Nikken Sekkei Discuss Urban Development Projects
Uzbekistan and Japan's Nikken Sekkei discussed cooperation on architectural design, urban planning and infrastructure projects.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, met with Ryuichi Kizumi, Executive Director of the Japanese architectural and engineering company Nikken Sekkei, to explore potential collaboration in architectural design and urban development.
The discussions primarily focused on integrating modern engineering solutions into investment projects underway in Uzbekistan. Both parties recognized the opportunity to utilize the Japanese firm's expertise in designing social and transport infrastructure.
Representatives from Nikken Sekkei confirmed the company's willingness to contribute to the creation of architectural concepts for social, transport, and public facilities, as well as to support the transfer of contemporary design technologies.
The meeting concluded with an agreement between the parties to maintain close cooperation and to jointly formulate specific project proposals.
