Uzbekistan Mobile Internet Users Rise 4.3-Fold in a Decade
The number of mobile internet subscribers in Uzbekistan reached 33.3 million as of 1 January 2026, up 4.3-fold from 2015, official statistics showed.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – According to data from the National Committee on Statistics, Uzbekistan experienced a 4.3-fold surge in mobile internet users over the past decade, reaching 33.3 million subscribers by January 1, 2026.
This represents an increase of 25.5 million users compared to 2015, when the nation had 7.8 million mobile internet subscribers.
The growth in mobile internet adoption was consistent throughout the period. In 2016, subscribers numbered 9 million, rising to 10.3 million in 2017, 12.7 million in 2018, and 15.7 million in 2019.
The upward trend continued into the 2020s, with 17.9 million users in 2020, 21 million in 2021, 24 million in 2022, 27.1 million in 2023, and 29.2 million in 2024. By the start of 2026, the total number of mobile internet subscribers had reached 33.3 million.
