Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan has launched a trilateral initiative in collaboration with the Swiss recruitment firm Globogate and the Czech medical organization Penta Hospitals International. This project aims to train and subsequently place Uzbek medical professionals in various European Union nations.
The initiative focuses on creating a framework in Uzbekistan to prepare doctors and nursing personnel for employment in the medical facilities associated with the Penta Hospitals International network.
Penta Hospitals International stands as one of the largest private healthcare systems in Central Europe, managing over 150 hospitals and around 100 patient care centers, with a workforce of approximately 25,000 employees. Recently, the network inaugurated a state-of-the-art hospital in Bratislava, which is designed to accommodate 1,400 staff members.
As reported by the Migration Agency, the partnership with Globogate has already produced tangible outcomes. Currently, about 600 nurses from Uzbekistan have secured jobs in Germany through an active program.
The next phase of this collaboration aims to broaden the project's geographical reach. Initially, the program will be rolled out in Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland, with plans to eventually include Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
The Migration Agency emphasized that this project will enhance the legal employment prospects for qualified medical professionals from Uzbekistan in EU countries and will foster the development of international cooperation in the training of medical personnel.
