Road safety authorities in Uzbekistan intercepted a Damas vehicle carrying 28 children simultaneously, warning against hazardous overload practices.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) ––

During a routine preventive inspection, officers from the Road Traffic Safety Service intercepted a Damas vehicle found to be transporting 28 children, a significant breach of regulations concerning the conveyance of minors.

The Road Traffic Safety Service reported that the vehicle's severe overloading presented a direct danger to the well-being and lives of its occupants. The service underscored that such infractions are entirely unacceptable for child transportation and could result in dire outcomes.

Following this discovery, the Road Traffic Safety Service issued a reminder to both drivers and the leadership of preschool educational institutions to adhere rigorously to all stipulated safety protocols and to avoid endangering students.

Furthermore, the agency implored parents to diligently oversee the arrangements for their children's travel. Citizens were encouraged to decline unsafe transport options and to report any instances of vehicle overloading or other violations they observe.

The Road Traffic Safety Service reiterated that ensuring the safety of children must be the paramount concern in all transportation planning.
