Uzbek Travel to Vietnam Increases 44.7% in First Half 2026

A total of 23,409 Uzbek citizens visited Vietnam in January–June 2026, marking a 44.7% increase year-on-year, the National Statistics Committee reported.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) –– The National Statistics Committee reports a significant surge in tourism from Uzbekistan to Vietnam, with 23,409 Uzbek citizens traveling to the Southeast Asian nation in the first six months of 2026. This figure represents a 44.7% increase over the corresponding period last year, translating to an additional 7,200 visitors.

Leisure travel constituted the overwhelming majority of these visits, with 22,030 trips undertaken for recreational purposes. Furthermore, 1,212 Uzbek citizens journeyed to Vietnam to visit family members.

Other reasons for travel included medical treatment, accounting for 157 trips, and business, with 10 recorded visits. The National Statistics Committee highlighted that the volume of travel by Uzbek citizens to Vietnam saw an almost 45% rise when compared to the initial half of 2025.
