Tashkent City Hall, Shavkat Umurzakov, accompanied by Aziz Azimov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Public Safety and Rule of Law of the Presidential Administration, as well as heads of city departments, relevant agencies, and district halls, inspected projects aimed at creating modern, safe, and accessible public spaces.

During the visit, samples of equipment intended for installation in children's and sports playgrounds in the capital's courtyards were examined. Particular attention was paid to the quality of the structures, the safety of the surfaces, their durability, and the creation of conditions for people with disabilities, both children and adults. Responsible officials were instructed to ensure the installation of equipment that meets modern safety, quality, and inclusive standards.

In the Yunusabad District, work continues to create a 24-hour zone on sections of Yangi-Shahar and Amir Temur Streets. The site's amenities, pedestrian zone organization, service facility placement, lighting, landscaping, and security were examined. Specific measures and deadlines for addressing identified deficiencies were identified.

In addition, work has begun on the comprehensive development of the area adjacent to the Scientific and Educational Memorial Complex named after the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, with the goal of transforming it into an open public park. This project is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Head of the Presidential Administration and includes the removal of fences, the creation of convenient entrances, a unified network of pedestrian routes, a fully accessible environment, the preservation of green space, and the installation of modern lighting, navigation, and security systems.
