Teenager arrested for breaking into store through a crack in door and robbing cash register in Tashkent

A teenager who stole money from a store cash register in Tashkent was detained at the scene of the crime. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city Internal Affairs Department.

According to the report, a minor entered the store through a crack in the door and stole 6 million 185 thousand soums from the cash register. Security guards on night duty, noticing his suspicious actions, caught him before he could leave the scene and reported this to the duty unit.

As a result of the investigation, the 6 million 185 thousand soums stolen by the suspect were returned to the store owner in full.

During the investigation, it was found that this store and a number of retail outlets around it were not connected to the security service system. After that, preventive explanatory work was carried out with entrepreneurs and measures were taken to connect them to the security service. In particular, the owner of the store where the theft occurred also signed a contract with the security service.

The employees who contributed to the disclosure of the crime were awarded by the leadership of the internal affairs bodies.

Earlier, it was revealed that a security guard in Jizzakh had stolen a total of 91 electric generators and sewing machines from the enterprise where he worked over a period of 4 years. In another case, members of a group that embezzled the money of more than 60 citizens were arrested in Bukhara.
