Tashkent is poised to host the Indian Film Festival 2026. In observance of International Women's Day, the Embassy of India, supported by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the National Film Development Corporation of India, and in collaboration with the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan, is organizing the second edition of its women-centric Indian Film Festival, 'Sashakt Nari-Celebrating Womanhood.' Scheduled from March 13-15, 2026, the festival will showcase popular Indian films featuring women in lead roles who overcome challenges and adversities through courage and resilience. Film screenings will be held at the Palace of National Cinematic Art (Panorama Cinema Palace), located at Alisher Navoiy 15, Tashkent.
All cinema lovers in Uzbekistan are cordially invited to attend the film screenings. Enjoy the films with family and friends! Admission is free, and films will be presented with both Uzbek and English subtitles.
