Tashkent to host first ever French Premieres Festival

Tashkent is set to host its inaugural French Premieres Festival from November 21 to 24. This unique cinematic event will showcase films previously inaccessible to the general public in Uzbekistan, encompassing a selection of new releases, animated features, and classic titles.
The festival is a collaborative effort, organized by the French Institute with significant backing from the Tashkent Film School, moc, the French Embassy in Uzbekistan, and the Center for the Development of National Cinematography of Uzbekistan. Screenings will be held at two primary venues: the National Cinema Palace and the Kinokhona Cinema Hall.
Admission to most screenings is complimentary, with the exception of the final film. Tickets for this particular showing can be purchased via the Showgo website.
