Rescuers free young child with head trapped in concrete hole in Bukhara

Bukhara, Uzbekistan – Emergency responders successfully extricated a young child whose head became lodged in a concrete opening, local authorities confirmed. The child was reported to be in good health following the rescue.

The incident took place on August 3 in a residential part of Bukhara. According to emergency officials, the child was playing unsupervised when their head became inadvertently stuck in the hole, preventing them from getting out.

Upon notification, personnel from the Bukhara Regional Emergency Situations Department promptly arrived at the location. Employing specialized tools, the rescue team managed to free the child without any injuries.

In the aftermath, the Emergency Situations Department released a statement advising the public to closely supervise young children and adhere to safety protocols to avert comparable dangerous situations.
