Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Seattle held talks with the management of Korn Ferry, one of the largest human resources management companies. The parties discussed the training, certification, and employment of Uzbek nurses in American hospitals.

According to Dunyo, representatives of Korn Ferry Health attended the meeting: Suellen Tomlinson, Korn Ferry's healthcare and education partner in the Middle East and Africa; Mitsul Modi, global representative; and Liz Bickley, chief operating officer.
The Uzbek side presented information on labor migration reforms, centralized interaction with foreign employers, and ensuring the protection of specialists' rights abroad. Korn Ferry representatives emphasized the significant demand for nurses and clinical specialists in the United States, particularly those who are English-speaking and have strong clinical training.
The company expressed interest in this project and is open to discussions with American medical and educational institutions. An agreement was reached to analyze employer needs and compare nursing training systems in Uzbekistan and the United States, including language requirements, clinical practice, and licensing processes.
