Motorcyclist dies in County Donegal crash
The motorbike rider, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene, Irish police have said.
A motorcycle operator has died after being involved in a crash with a car in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland.
The man was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision, which occurred on Friday on the N56 at Termon at approximately 4:30 PM local time.
According to An Garda Síochána, the Irish police force, the motorcyclist was a man in his 60s. His remains have been transported to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, received treatment for injuries described as non-serious at a hospital.
The accident scene was secured on Friday to allow for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, and local traffic diversions were implemented.
Gardaí are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. They are also requesting that individuals who traveled on the N56 between the Lagoon Restaurant & Guesthouse and Creeslough between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM and possess dashcam footage come forward.
