Gold is rising in price again

Gold posts strongest weekly gain since January.

Gold is rising again.

This week, gold is posting its most significant gain since January. Since the start of the week, it has risen more than 6.5%, now exceeding $4,300 per ounce.

The price increase is driven by shifting expectations regarding US Federal Reserve policy. Lower oil prices, which have reduced inflation risks, have provided additional stimulus. Investors are currently awaiting the release of new US labor market data.

Meanwhile, Swiss bank UBS predicts that the price of the precious metal could reach $5,000 per ounce by the first half of 2027.
