Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) –– A retail establishment in the Zangiata District of Uzbekistan's Tashkent Region experienced a fire, as confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The ministry reported that emergency dispatch services received notification of the blaze at a shop situated in the Tokzor mahalla at 12:29 PM on August 6, 2026.
Upon receiving the alert, fire and rescue teams were promptly dispatched to the location. Firefighting efforts were ongoing.
Initial reports indicated no casualties. The ministry assured that the situation was entirely under control.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished by 2:09 PM. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
