Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – The Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshit plant recently hosted a delegation from Afghanistan's energy sector, headed by Al-Haj Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar, the Chief Executive Officer of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS).
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the facility, showcasing the manufacturing processes for smart electricity meters, automated systems for electricity and gas metering (ASKUE and ASKUG), surface-mount technology (SMT) lines, and the assembly of contemporary electrical substations.
Afghan representatives were given an overview of the company's production infrastructure, technological prowess, and diverse product portfolio.
A significant portion of the visit focused on smart electricity meters, highlighting their precision in measuring electricity usage and their capacity for remote management and oversight in both residential and industrial settings.
The delegation's itinerary in Uzbekistan also includes visits to cable manufacturing companies to explore their production capabilities and product lines.
