"Captiva" collided with a truck in Syrdarya

On August 9, a serious road accident occurred in the "Pakhtakor" MPY area of the Khavos district of the Syrdarya region.
Videos circulating on social networks show a large fire as a result of a collision on the Tashkent-Yangiyer direction of the M-34 highway.
According to a Kun.uz source, a SHACMAN truck driven by a Chinese citizen working for a private company in the Mirzaabad district was trying to turn back from the second lane of the road. However, he turned without giving way to a "Captiva" car moving in the first lane, and as a result, a collision occurred.
After the collision, the "Captiva" immediately burst into flames, and fire brigades were called to the scene.
As a result of this incident, three people in the passenger car - the driver and two passengers - died at the scene.
There is no information about the condition of the truck driver at this time.
