Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —

A meeting was held in Barnaul, the administrative center of the Altai Krai, between Aslam Akbarov, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, and the management of Alfit, a company known for its phytoproducts.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to open an Alfit representative office in Tashkent and subsequently localize production in Uzbekistan, according to Dunyo News Agency.

Alfit's product range includes over 350 items, including herbal capsules, plant extracts, specialized cosmetics, and confectionery, including sugar-free options.

During the meeting, opportunities for promoting the company's phytotherapeutic products, particularly those produced in Russia's Altai Krai, on the Uzbek market were discussed. Alfit's management expressed its willingness to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan.

The first step will be the imminent opening of an Alfit representative office in Tashkent. Subsequently, the parties intend to establish a joint venture.

The next stage of cooperation envisions localizing the company's production in the Chirchik Free Economic Zone.

Alfit management emphasized that one of the priority areas for further cooperation is the creation and development of production facilities in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, the Uzbek side invited a representative of Alfit Plus to join a business mission from the Altai Krai region, whose visit to Uzbekistan is scheduled for September 2026.
