Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz News Agency.

A new tourist destination is planned for construction on the shores of Lake Saykul in the Amu Darya District of Karakalpakstan. It will offer safari tours, water sports, and other active leisure activities.

The goal of this project is to stimulate domestic and inbound tourism, attract new visitors, and create additional jobs for the local population.

The future complex will include five traditional yurts, a food court, a souvenir shop, a beach, and fishing spots. Necessary sanitary infrastructure will also be provided. Horseback riding and other outdoor activities will be organized for guests.

Special attention will be given to safari tours: the tour operator has 10 off-road vehicles at its disposal, allowing tourists to safely explore the desert landscapes and experience the region's natural beauty. The new project is expected to increase the attractiveness of the Amu Darya region for travelers and open up additional prospects for tourism development in Karakalpakstan.

At the same time, a proposal has been put forward in Uzbekistan to restore abandoned airfields and runways for tourism purposes.
