**Zelensky: Ukraine is ready to compromise with Russia on certain issues**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he is ready to compromise with Russia on certain issues that are considered sensitive for the country.
In a conversation with journalists, Zelensky elaborated on the areas in which Ukraine is ready to compromise.
"Grain, energy — these are painful issues for Ukraine and Russia. Today, they are also important issues for the whole world, including India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Asia, and many other countries. We are ready to compromise," said the Ukrainian leader.
Zelensky emphasized the need to consider the actions of both sides when discussing this issue. According to him, Ukraine has already made many compromises and should not remain the only party taking steps in this direction.
The Ukrainian President stated that the next steps depend not only on Kyiv's readiness to find a solution, but also on corresponding steps being taken by Russia.
As a reminder, last weekend, US presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner traveled to Moscow and held talks on the war with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Following this, they met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. During the meetings, the parties discussed ending the war and issues regarding further negotiations. However, no major breakthrough was observed regarding the resolution of the conflict.
