Young judokas from Uzbekistan placed among the top three in the individual World Championships.

The individual competitions of the World Junior Judo Championships concluded in Ecuador. On the final day of the tournament, the Uzbekistan team added another silver medal to its tally.

In the 90 kg weight class, Jurabek Eshpulatov demonstrated excellent results, reaching the final, where he won the silver medal in the decisive bout.

Thus, in the individual competitions, the young judokas of Uzbekistan won a total of six medals: one gold, one silver, and four bronze. This allowed the team to take third place in the overall team standings.

Silver medal:

* Up to 90 kg – Jurabek Eshpulatov

Bronze medals:

* Up to 55 kg – Bobur Yusupov

* Up to 48 kg – Charos Khikmatova

Today, the World Championships will continue with the mixed team competition, where Uzbek judokas will compete for more medals.
