Xiaomi introduces the REDMI Note 17 series: long-lasting REDMI Titan quality
Tashkent, Uzbekistan, September 15, 2026 - Xiaomi has presented a new generation of its popular smartphone lineup - the REDMI Note 17 series. The series includes three models, including the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G model, released for the first time in the history of the lineup.

The smartphones were presented with large-capacity batteries, fast charging, enhanced protection against water and drops, and an updated design. The series continues REDMI's "Built to Last" concept, setting a new level of durability in the mid-price segment.
The presentation coincided with another important milestone: the number of REDMI Note devices shipped worldwide exceeded 500 million.
The flagship of the series — REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G — combines REDMI Titan quality, flagship-level capabilities, and the largest battery among Xiaomi smartphones, with a capacity of up to 10,000 mAh. Along with the REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G and REDMI Note 17, it embodies the "Built to Last" philosophy.
All models in the series are designed for long-term use. They will receive up to six years of security updates, and the battery of some models will last just as long. The software of the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G also ensures "like-new" performance for six years.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G and REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G were the first in the industry to receive the five-star TÜV SÜD Titan Quality certification. This confirms the devices' resistance to drops, vibrations, and impacts, the reliability of ports and buttons, water resistance, as well as the long battery life under various temperatures, mechanical impacts, and numerous charging cycles.
Meanwhile, the REDMI Note 17 received the five-star TÜV SÜD Battery Performance certification, which confirms its long battery life.
The entire series is equipped with the REDMI Titan battery system based on silicon-carbon technology.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G features a 10,000 mAh battery with 16% silicon content, supporting 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging. In some markets, a 9,210 mAh battery with the same fast charging and long lifespan indicators is used.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G is equipped with an 8,340 mAh battery and supports 67W HyperCharge.
