Russian companies can now exchange legally binding electronic documents with counterparties from Uzbekistan. Cross-border electronic document management for users of the "Diadoc" service has been launched by the Russian company "SKB Kontur".
The new format makes it possible to phase out the sending of paper originals between the countries. Documents can be approved and signed faster, and if necessary, corrections can be made promptly.
When working with documents signed with an electronic signature of a foreign counterparty, the verification of such a signature is performed by an independent certification authority.
The company emphasizes that the launch of exchange with Uzbekistan expands the capabilities of Russian and Uzbek companies when working with documents without the need to send their paper originals.
The launch of cross-border EDM coincides with Uzbekistan's course towards the digitalization of document management and reducing the use of paper in government agencies.
