Wisconsin officials open investigation into fatal police shooting

Corey Ruiz, 38, was shot and killed on Wednesday in an altercation with four officers. Police say he resisted arrest and pulled a knife during the incident.

Wisconsin authorities have initiated a homicide inquiry into the fatal shooting of a man by a police officer.

Madison Police Chief John Patterson assured reporters on Thursday of his full cooperation with state investigators, stating
