Wedding procession drivers punished in Navoi

Drivers who were participants in a wedding procession in the Nurota district of the Navoi region were held accountable for violating traffic rules and obstructing other traffic participants. This was reported to Khabar.uz by the head of the regional Internal Affairs Department's information service, Fayozjon Qosimov.
A video circulating on social networks shows a group of drivers blocking the road and moving as part of a wedding procession. The footage shows some cars flashing their headlights and making dangerous maneuvers.
An investigation was conducted by employees of the Traffic Safety Department of the Public Security Service of the Navoi regional Department of Internal Affairs, and the identities of the violators were identified. The incident occurred in the village of "Qizilcha" in the Nurota district.
During the investigation, it was revealed that one of the drivers had installed LED lights on his Gentra car that were not permitted by the manufacturer.
The violators were temporarily placed in a penalty area. The drivers were summoned to the internal affairs body and explained that their actions could lead to a traffic accident and serious consequences. They were also shown a touching video reflecting the consequences of violating traffic rules.
Reports were drawn up on the case based on the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Fayozjon Kasimov noted: “Moving in a procession at weddings and other public events should not negatively affect road safety. Blocking the road with cars, making dangerous maneuvers, and using lighting devices that do not meet standards are not only illegal, but can also pose a threat to human life and health.”
We recall that a similar incident occurred earlier in Bukhara. At that time, the groom’s companions who organized the wedding procession were punished.
