On October 21−23, the Comtrux Tashkent 2026 commercial vehicle exhibition took place at the CAEx exhibition center in Tashkent. Over three days, representatives from the freight, construction, and municipal sectors gathered here. It was at this exhibition that Van Universal Motors (VUM) introduced the new FAW Tiger V 4×4 chassis, with more than 1,500 guests visiting the company's stand.

Among the guests were representatives of government organizations, heads of logistics companies, fleet owners, and numerous entrepreneurs. They inspected the equipment up close, sat in the cabin, and tested the comfort for themselves. In conversations with specialists, views were exchanged regarding load capacity, the service network, and the supply of spare parts.

As every year, VUM participated in this exhibition with an innovation. This time, the company showcased the FAW Tiger V 4×4 chassis. Featuring four-wheel drive, this vehicle is capable of moving through mud, sand, and steep slopes. The chassis is designed for operation on unpaved roads, construction sites, and mountainous areas. Depending on the type of work to be performed, a van, dump truck, or specialized equipment body can be installed on the chassis. This allows the vehicle to be adapted for use in various industries.

"The most valuable thing for us at the exhibition is the suggestions and feedback from customers. Based on their demands and needs, we continuously update our equipment. This year's 4×4 chassis is the result of this approach. The interest shown by the guests proved that our choice was correct," says Rovshan Khasanov, General Director of VUM.

Along with the 4x4 chassis, two other updated models were also presented at the exhibition. One of them is the diesel-powered, curtain-side FAW Tiger VR, which has a load capacity of up to 3,500 kg. This is almost double that of the previous model. The curtain-side platform body facilitates loading and unloading cargo from different sides. Thanks to these features, the model is a convenient solution for small and medium-sized business representatives, retail networks, and delivery services.

Designed for urban utility needs, the FAW Tiger garbage truck also aroused interest among exhibition participants. Its 8.5 cubic meter body enables efficient operation during the waste transportation process. The model is specifically designed for public utilities and landscaping organizations, whose representatives got acquainted with its capabilities up close.

The exhibition served as an important platform for VUM not only to demonstrate new equipment, but also to communicate with customers and better understand market demands. The interest expressed in the FAW Tiger V 4×4 chassis and the updated models demonstrated the company's commitment to offering solutions tailored to the needs of various sectors. In the future, VUM will continue to expand its lineup of FAW equipment based on customer demand and strengthen its position in the commercial vehicle market of Uzbekistan.
