Uzbekneftegaz Joint Stock Company held talks with the Chinese company Honghua regarding the potential purchase of five automated drilling rigs. The purpose of this acquisition is to modernize the existing drilling equipment fleet, according to the Uzbekneftegaz press service.

During a meeting with representatives of Honghua, renowned for its expertise in drilling equipment manufacturing, the parties focused on improving the efficiency of drilling operations, integrating advanced technologies, and upgrading the company's technical equipment.

During the discussion, options for acquiring four ZJ70 automated drilling rigs and one ZJ90 rig were considered.

According to Uzbekneftegaz, the introduction of such equipment will enable drilling operations to utilize the latest technologies, resulting in increased productivity and expanded capabilities for the prompt commissioning of new wells.

Participants in the talks also discussed optimizing equipment supply costs, increasing the economic benefits of cooperation, and further developing it for mutual benefit.
