Uzbekneftegaz accrued 2.6 trillion soums in dividends — a result never achieved before
Over the nine months, Uzbekneftegaz accrued 2.6 trillion soums in dividends from enterprises in which it holds shares. According to the company, such a volume of payouts has never occurred before in its practice.
This result is attributed to increased asset management efficiency and growing financial returns from enterprises with Uzbekneftegaz's participation. However, the company did not specify in its statement how many dividends were accrued during the same period last year.
In addition, 1.9 trillion soums were saved over the nine months. The cost reduction plan was fulfilled by 111.5%.
In total, during this period, the company manufactured industrial products worth 41.8 trillion soums. Exports amounted to $736.7 million, investments reached $790 million, and 6.9 trillion soums in taxes and other mandatory payments were directed to the budget.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the development plans for the oil and gas industry. During the presentation, it was reported that since the beginning of the year, 80 wells, including deep ones, have been drilled in the country's regions. Some of them reach depths of 6,000 meters or more. An additional 40 wells are planned to be drilled by the end of the year.
