Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the American corporation Schlumberger held talks to expand technological collaboration, encompassing digitalization, the implementation of artificial intelligence, and advanced field management methods, according to Uzbekneftegaz's press service.
Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, met with a Schlumberger delegation led by Li Dan, the company's Vice President for the Asia Region. The meeting participants analyzed the current state of cooperation and outlined paths for its further development.
The dialogue focused on the integration of modern technologies into the oil and gas industry. Key areas identified included field management, geophysical surveys, digitalization of production cycles, the use of artificial intelligence, and the modeling and management of geological information.
Representatives of both companies also discussed Schlumberger's proposals and prospects for their detailed study and subsequent implementation on a mutually beneficial basis.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to continue working together on technological solutions aimed at improving production efficiency and optimizing exploration activities.
