Uzbekistan’s Saida Mirziyoyeva to deliver keynote at Arab Media Summit in Dubai

Saida Mirziyoyeva, who leads the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, is scheduled to give a keynote speech at the Government Communication Forum, part of the Arab Media Summit 2026 in Dubai. Her address will take place on the opening day of the summit, a three-day event running from September 15 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Mirziyoyeva's presence will highlight Uzbekistan's strategies in government communication and the dynamic between public bodies, the media, and the populace. The session is anticipated to explore how communication can foster development and modernization, while simultaneously enabling institutions to uphold public trust and interact with citizens.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, expressed her approval of Mirziyoyeva's involvement. Al Marri emphasized the chance for leaders and specialists from various nations to share insights and identify potential areas for collaboration.

The summit anticipates over 400 speakers, including editors-in-chief, media executives, content creators, influencers, media technology experts, and academics. Additionally, more than 200 media and intellectual figures from 23 countries outside the UAE are expected to attend. The agenda includes over 175 discussion and dialogue sessions.

Evolving from the Arab Media Forum, which started in 2001, the summit has expanded into a comprehensive platform encompassing various facets of the media sector. The 2026 program is designed to consolidate approximately 10 specialized forums, such as the Arab Media Forum, Government Communication Forum, Arab Youth Media Forum, Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, eGaming Forum, and Film Forum, under a single umbrella.

The 2026 event will also commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Arab Media Award, placing an emphasis on nurturing media talent and acknowledging journalistic and creative achievements throughout the region.
