Uzbekistan's Natural Honey Imports Nearly Triple
Uzbekistan imported 642.2 tonnes of natural honey in the first four months of 2026, almost three times more than a year earlier, official statistics showed.
Uzbekistan's imports of natural honey experienced a substantial increase, nearly tripling during the first four months of 2026. According to figures released by the National Statistics Committee, the country imported 642.2 tonnes of natural honey, with a total value of US$584,400, over this period.
This volume marks an increase of 422.4 tonnes, or 2.9 times, when compared to the same timeframe in 2025.
Kazakhstan stood out as the leading supplier of natural honey to Uzbekistan, exporting 372 tonnes. Kyrgyzstan was the second-largest contributor with 168 tonnes, followed by Russia, which supplied 87.9 tonnes.
Germany also provided 10 tonnes of natural honey during these four months, while Hungary exported 2.2 tonnes. A combined total of 2.1 tonnes of imported natural honey came from other countries.
