The head of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, Mukhsinkhoja Abdurakhmonov, held an online meeting with representatives of the US company Head Honchos.
The meeting considered issues of training and employing Uzbekistanis in seasonal agricultural jobs in the US.
It is planned to develop an approximately 12-week training program for candidates.
US employers will participate in the preparation of the program, testing candidates, and the final certification process.
It is noted that work is underway to prepare the first group for the spring agricultural season in the US.
Selection and training of candidates will begin after specific orders from employers are received and selection criteria are approved. The terms of admission and the application procedure will be announced on the official channels of the Migration Agency.
