Uzbekistan women's football team's opponents in the World Cup intercontinental play-off tournament have been announced

The Uzbekistan women's national team will compete against Papua New Guinea, Ghana, and South Africa.

The Uzbekistan women's national football team's opponents in the 2027 FIFA World Cup intercontinental play-off round have been determined.

According to the results of the draw, the Uzbekistan national team will compete with the national teams of Papua New Guinea, Ghana and South Africa in this round of qualification.

The preliminary round will be held in a single centralized location in November-December 2026. At the end of this round, two teams will qualify for the final play-off round.

The decisive play-off round will be organized centrally in February 2027. In it, the two teams that have qualified from the preliminary round will be joined by two teams from CONCACAF, and one team each from CONMEBOL and UEFA.

A total of six national teams will be divided into three groups by draw. One decisive play-off match will be held in each group. The three teams that win these matches will qualify for the Women's World Cup.

The Women's World Cup will be held in Brazil from June 24 to July 25, 2027.
