Uzbekistan hosts two major international air navigation events for the first time

For the first time, Tashkent is simultaneously hosting two major international events in the field of air navigation. The annual SOCEA meeting began on September 8, and the CANSO Eurasia ANSP’s Summit will take place on September 9.

The third annual SOCEA general meeting is attended by representatives of European and Asian air navigation service providers, as well as international aviation organizations.

Participants will discuss flight safety, cooperation between air navigation service providers, and the further development of SOCEA.

SOCEA is a regional platform that brings together participants from Europe and Asia to cooperate in the field of air traffic management and air navigation safety.

On September 9, Tashkent will host the CANSO Eurasia ANSP’s Summit. It will address the development of air traffic management, communication, navigation, and surveillance systems.

In addition, participants will discuss the application of artificial intelligence, green technologies in aviation, air traffic flow management, and the efficient use of airspace.

Special attention will be paid to cross-border coordination between air navigation service providers.
