Three tennis players from Uzbekistan will compete in the 2026 US Open.

At the 2026 US Open, Uzbekistan will be represented by three athletes. Kamilla Rakhimova and Mariya Timofeeva have secured spots in the main draw, while Polina Kudermetova has been entered in the qualifying round. This information was confirmed by the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.

Rakhimova is ranked 78th in the WTA rankings, while Timofeeva is ranked 84th. Kudermetova, ranked 111th in the world, will begin her journey in the qualifying round. If she successfully completes the qualifying round, she will also be eligible to join the main draw.

This means Uzbekistan has a chance to set a new record for the number of women's singles players at a Grand Slam tournament. Previously, Denis Istomin and Akgul Amanmuradova represented the country for several years in New York. The 2026 US Open will be held in New York from August 23 to September 13. The tournament's prize fund will reach a record $108 million. Participants will receive $140,000 for reaching the first round of the singles main draw.
