Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A meeting took place at the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, where agency director Abdulla Azizov met with representatives from a South Korean consortium led by the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND). The discussion centered on organizational matters related to the Smart Bio Cluster project.

The dialogue emphasized the establishment of a contemporary industrial ecosystem in biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals, the phased execution of the project, and the importance of ensuring its investment appeal and economic viability.

The South Korean representatives indicated that, as part of the project's feasibility study preparation, they intend to carry out a thorough market analysis, gauge potential investor interest, examine demand, and evaluate the investment potential of the upcoming bio-cluster.

Additionally, the meeting covered the advancement of engineering and communication infrastructure, the formulation of an effective project management model, and strategies for attracting international investment.

The Agency's leadership highlighted that fostering favorable conditions for investors and delivering essential organizational support are crucial for the project's successful execution.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to maintain their collaboration and coordinate the next practical steps.
