Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's unified power system registered its highest-ever electricity consumption and generation figures on July 20, specifically at 17:22, the Ministry of Energy announced.

The ministry detailed that nationwide electricity consumption reached 14 GW, while electricity generation amounted to 14.2 GW.

These statistics, the ministry confirmed, represent the highest levels ever documented within the nation's electricity sector.

The Energy Ministry also indicated that these record levels might be surpassed again. Its projections suggest that both electricity consumption and generation could potentially achieve new historic peaks before the day concludes.
