Uzbekistan seeks to expand exports to Turkey through Trendyol

Uzbekistan plans to expand sales of locally produced goods in Turkey through the Trendyol online marketplace.

Uzbekistan aims to boost its export volume to Turkey by leveraging the Trendyol e-commerce platform. This objective was a key topic during discussions between Sherzod Abdunazarov, Uzbekistan's Consul General in Istanbul, and representatives from Trendyol. The meeting explored the possibility of featuring Uzbek-manufactured goods on the platform for sale to Turkish consumers.

Trendyol officials indicated their willingness to assist Uzbek companies in tailoring their products to meet the marketplace's specifications and in establishing a sales presence within the Turkish market.

Furthermore, the discussion touched upon strategies to facilitate Uzbek businesses' entry into various international e-commerce platforms. Both parties committed to collaboratively developing a catalog of Uzbek export products suitable for sale via Trendyol.

This process will involve an evaluation of Trendyol's technical and commercial prerequisites. Plans also include fostering direct communication between relevant representatives and addressing critical aspects such as logistics, product certification, customs procedures, and payment systems.

This endeavor is anticipated to furnish Uzbek manufacturers with an additional avenue for reaching Turkish consumers and to contribute to the expansion of Uzbekistan's e-commerce-driven exports.
