Uzbekistan occupies the 141st spot among 147 economies when it comes to the proportion of active AI users, as revealed in Microsoft's 2025 AI Diffusion Report. The nation's active AI user share stands at approximately 6.3%, marking an increase from 5.7% earlier in the year. This data points to a discrepancy between governmental readiness and strategic planning, and the actual widespread integration of AI, even as leaders concentrate their efforts on infrastructure and training. Uzbekistan's figures fall significantly short of top-performing countries like the UAE, which reports a 64% active AI user share, and Singapore, at 60.9%. In these leading nations, more than half of the working-age population consistently utilizes generative AI tools in their daily professional activities.
