The delegation of Uzbekistan briefed the international community on the results of reforms in the field of preventing and combating corruption.
The presentation took place within the framework of the 17th session dedicated to the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption, which was held in Vienna from August 31 to September 4.
Uzbekistan delivered a separate report at the session on the implementation of the Convention's provisions. It provided information on the progress of its implementation in the country and the changes that have occurred in the national system of corruption prevention in recent years.
Representatives of the delegation emphasized that the anti-corruption transformations being carried out in Uzbekistan have become irreversible.
One example of the further development of this work was the decision made on December 30, 2025.
According to the presented data, after the adoption of the relevant presidential document, the work on preventing and combating corruption was moved to a new stage.
The country has also launched the "Digital Compliance" information and software complex, designed to apply modern mechanisms in this area.
In addition, new tools for preventing corruption risks are being introduced in government bodies, including judicial institutions.
During the session, the Uzbek side thus presented a complex of ongoing transformations in the country aimed at the further development of corruption prevention mechanisms and the fulfillment of international obligations under the UN Convention against Corruption.
