The new rule is codified in a departmental document that came into effect on August 9.

The Ministry of Justice noted that simplifying procedures and creating additional convenience for the public is one of the agency's priorities.

It was previously reported that new requirements for storing biometric data of financial sector clients came into effect in Uzbekistan. The corresponding resolution of the Central Bank Board was registered by the Ministry of Justice on August 1 and entered into force on the day of its official publication.

This change is enshrined in a departmental act that entered into force on August 9.
