Uzbekistan, Malaysia Discuss Vegetable Oil Trade Expansion

Uzbekistan and Malaysia Explore Expanded Vegetable Oil Trade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Oybek Zufarov, Chairman of the Association of Vegetable Oil Producers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (APVO), recently met with Rafeda Abd Aziz, Malaysia's new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan.

Aleksey Udovenko, Regional Director of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), was also present at the discussion.

Key topics included the potential for a free trade agreement between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, import duties applicable to palm oil, and avenues for further developing trade and economic collaboration.

Both sides concluded the meeting by reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral engagement and fostering trade relations between their respective nations.
